We will be returning to the streets January 28......

Charlotte's Historic South End has undergone an amazing transformation in the 11 years since I first arrived in town!

The historic mill buildings are now filled with farmer's markets, restaurants, and unique stores that offer home goods, furniture, and fabrics that you won't find anywhere else. Paying homage to its past as a "streetcar suburb", the South End is connected to Uptown and to South Charlotte by the LYNX - Charlotte's light rail system. It also boasts a rail trail for walking.

Join Ted Boyd of Charlotte Center City Partners and me for a Walking Tour of the Historic South End! We'll discuss the history and the vision of the South End, as well as some of the urban living options. We'll also be stopping in at some of the stores for some special discounts, and we'll end with a party and an opportunity to socialize.

Meet in the Atherton Mill Parking Lot at 11:45. The tour will start promptly at noon, and will start off with the Atherton Market.
